Age Verification Policy

Alperen Ltd. ("Crushi," "we," "our," or "us") operates crushi.ai and the related applications and services that link to this policy (the "Services"). The Services are an AI companion platform: every character, image and conversation on them is generated by artificial intelligence and is fictional, and no real person is depicted. They are for adults, and mature themes arise in private conversation between an adult account holder and a fictional character. They are not a catalogue of pornographic works, and they do not distribute a recording of any person's sexual conduct.

This policy explains how we restrict the Services to adults. It describes the measures we actually operate, where a check replaces a declaration, and — in Section 4 — the measures we do not operate. We publish those limits on purpose. Users, payment partners and regulators are entitled to compare what a platform claims against what it does, and we would rather state a boundary than imply a capability we do not have.

1. Minimum Age

The Services are available only to persons who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if that age is higher. There is no minors' tier, no "safe mode," and no youth account: every account on the platform is an adult account.

If we determine that an account holder is under 18, we terminate the account immediately, delete the associated data, and take reasonable steps to prevent the same person from registering again.

2. Where Age Verification Applies

We do not restrict access to the Services by country. A number of jurisdictions require operators of services that publish adult material to verify age rather than accept a declaration of it. Where the law of the visitor's jurisdiction requires verification, the Services carry it out before adult content is served, by the facial age estimate described in Section 3.1.

United Kingdom. The Services are available in the United Kingdom. Visitors there pass the age check in Section 3.1 before adult content is served, in view of the Online Safety Act 2023 and Ofcom's guidance on highly effective age assurance for services publishing pornographic content.

United States. We do not restrict access from any US state. A number of states have enacted statutes that require commercial distributors of pornographic material to verify age against identity documents or transactional data. Our position is that the Services are not within the scope of those statutes: the Services are an AI companion platform, not a distributor of pornographic works; every character and image on them is AI-generated and fictional, and no photographic or filmed depiction of an actual person engaged in sexual conduct exists on the Services; and adult conversation is generated privately, at the direction of an adult account holder, rather than published as a catalogue of works. Access from the United States is subject to the same measures as everywhere else (Section 3), including verification in any state that requires it, and to the federal standard for minors' privacy, which our 18-or-over rule exceeds. We keep this position under review as legislation and case law develop, and will revise this policy if it changes.

3. How We Restrict Access

Where a jurisdiction requires age verification, the check in 3.1 stands between the visitor and adult content. Everywhere else the standard is self-declaration of age combined with clear labelling and enforcement. The layers below apply in both cases, in the order given.

3.1 Age verification where a jurisdiction requires it

The check runs on the age-confirmation dialog: confirming your age there takes you to a specialist age-assurance provider (Didit), where you take a live selfie. The provider estimates your age from that image and returns a decision to our server, which is what opens access; nothing the browser sends us grants it. No identity document is requested at any point. We do not receive or store the photograph, and we do not perform the estimate ourselves. A visitor who does not pass, or who leaves the check unfinished, keeps the same routes out: take the check again, or leave the Services.

3.2 Declaration at registration

Creating an account requires acceptance of our Terms of Service, which contain an express representation by the user that they are at least 18 years old and legally entitled to access adult material in their jurisdiction. A false declaration is a breach of those Terms and voids the user's right to use the Services.

3.3 Age confirmation gate

Registration by telephone number or through a third-party sign-in, and any visit where a conversation is started before registration is complete, presents a locked age-confirmation dialog. The dialog cannot be dismissed by clicking outside it, by pressing Escape, or by a close control: it offers exactly two choices, Confirm (an affirmative statement that the user is of legal age) or Leave, which navigates the user off the Services. The confirmation is recorded on the device so that it is not repeated on every visit.

Registration by email address carries the same confirmation inside the registration form itself: the form cannot be submitted unless the 18-or-over confirmation is ticked. Because that confirmation has already been given at that point, the dialog is not shown a second time on this route.

The same dialog is also shown at the door on two entrances: to a visitor who arrives on the home page without a campaign or partner link, and to a visitor whose first page of the visit is the pricing page. On the pricing page no video is played until the dialog has been answered.

3.4 Machine-readable adult labelling

Every page of the Services carries the RTA ("Restricted to Adults") meta label. This allows parental-control software, operating-system content filters, network-level filters and browser extensions to identify and block the Services automatically, without any action by us and without the child ever reaching our servers. Device- and network-level filtering is the most effective protection available to a parent or guardian, and we recommend it.

3.5 Payment as a corroborating signal

Paid features require a valid payment instrument issued to the account holder. Card scheme and issuer rules restrict card issuance and use to persons of legal age, and our payment partners apply their own fraud and compliance screening to every transaction. We treat this as a corroborating adult signal, not as an age verification step: access to free features does not depend on it.

4. What This Policy Does Not Claim

To avoid any ambiguity, the following measures are not part of our current process anywhere on the Services:

• We do not collect or store a date of birth.
• We do not request, collect, process or store identity documents of any kind.
• We do not match users against credit-reference, mobile-network, electoral or other third-party age databases.
• We do not keep the selfie taken for the check in Section 3.1, and we do not run facial recognition on it: the provider estimates an age, and we keep its decision.
• Outside the jurisdictions described in Section 2 we do not verify age at all — the layers in 3.2 to 3.5 rest on the user's own declaration.

5. Content Boundaries That Protect Minors

Age restriction at the door is only half of child protection. The other half is what can exist on the platform at all.

• No real people. All characters and imagery on the Services are AI-generated and fictional. User uploads of real photographs or videos in sexual or nude contexts are prohibited absolutely, which is why no visual depiction of an actual human being engaged in sexually explicit conduct exists on the Services.
• Zero tolerance for minor-related content. Any content depicting, describing, sexualising or implying a minor is prohibited without exception. It results in immediate and permanent termination, and confirmed material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline and to law enforcement.
• Automated prompt filtering. Image and video generation requests are screened automatically before generation, and requests matching prohibited categories — including any indication of a minor — are rejected. Filtering is applied at the point of generation.
• Reporting and review. Generated imagery can be reported from within the product, and conversations are retained and available for review in response to a report, a rights-holder complaint, a law enforcement request or our own investigation. Confirmed violations lead to removal and account termination.

6. Reporting a Suspected Minor

If you believe a person under 18 holds an account, has gained access to the Services, or appears in or is depicted by any content, contact us immediately at [email protected]. Reports are prioritised over all other support traffic.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has created an account may contact the same address to have the account identified, terminated and its data deleted. We do not require the parent or guardian to hold an account with us in order to make that request.

7. Changes to This Policy

We update this policy when our controls change or when a new jurisdiction adopts age-verification legislation. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. A change to the list of jurisdictions where the check in Section 3.1 is required takes effect as soon as the check itself does.
